AdCare Educational Institute of Maine, Inc. is seeking to hire a highly-motivated and experienced Exercise and Training Coordinator in Augusta, ME. This full-time, salaried, position will work on our contract for the Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The position requires a strong organizer/trainer with demonstrated interest in emergency preparedness and response as well as public health. The work of the Exercise and Training Coordinator is driven by ensuring that public health and health care responders receive access to the appropriate levels of training in order to safely respond during a disaster or public health emergency and that the Maine DHHS emergency response plans are exercised routinely to identify gaps in planning. The Exercise and Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, facilitating and reporting on Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) exercises and associated trainings within Maine CDC and assisting partners in preparedness as directed.
