Governor Janet Mills will host her 6th Annual Opioid Response Summit on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Central Maine Community College in Auburn, Maine.
The annual summit is part of the state’s commitment to fighting the opioid epidemic, and convenes leaders from around Maine and the Nation to share ideas, strategies, and best practices to help Maine people affected by this crisis.
This full-day, in-person program will include keynote speakers and breakout sessions. The voices of persons in recovery will be featured prominently again this year.
Keynote Speaker:
Dr. Miriam E. Delphin-Rittmon is currently Assistant Secretary for Mental Health and Substance Use in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Administrator of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Dr. Delphin-Rittmon is committed to promoting recovery oriented, integrated, and culturally responsive services and systems that foster dignity, respect, and meaningful community inclusion.
