As the New England PTTC, AdCare Maine will be working to provide an array of training and technical assistance services to the prevention workforce in the New England states. This will include multiple modes of training and information dissemination, including in-person, distance learning, and digital content. The New England PTTC will work closely with regional and national prevention scientists and practitioners to bring the latest prevention research to practice. Additionally, the New England PTTC will serve as a national specialty hub, providing training and technical assistance in the area of marijuana-risk education. Many more details on programs will be forthcoming as the PTTC network rolls out.

“We are very proud to have the New England PTTC right here in Maine and as a part of the AdCare Educational Institute family. Maine and AdCare have rich history of providing prevention training and technical assistance; we are very excited and honored to have this opportunity to scale this work up to the entire region,” stated AdCare Maine Director of Operations Scott M. Gagnon.
